Dosing valve, mixing and distribution : for dispensing two-component products
Dedicated exclusively to handling two-component fluids, the PD44 dispensing valve allows safe distribution of solutions whose properties require them to remain separate until application. Now you can handle these fluids with the highest level of control. A specialised valve incorporates the two components separately and then brings them together in the syringe container located in the lower part of the valve. The process ensures a uniform and consistent result. The PD44 dispensing valve has been specifically designed to dispense doses of 0.005 cc to 5 cc of low to high viscosity product. The dispensing pistons are coupled with machined seals to extend their lifespan. There are no hoses between the product outlet of the pistons and the mixer inlet, thus eliminating possible irregularities in dispensing ratio or dose volume (phasing) due to product compression in the hose. The patented PD44 dispensing valve features well-balanced inlet and outlet spool valves that do not displace product when switching from the fill to the dispense position. This allows the pressurised supply of components “A” and “B” up to 84 bar during filling while isolating the products from the mixer inlet. When switching to the dispensing position without product movement, a precise volume of components “A” and “B” is injected into the inlet of the disposable mixer by moving the pistons.
