The manufacturer faced several constraints with a manual dispensing process:
- Very small substrates (details barely visible to the naked eye)
- Dispensing had to be ultra-precise and controlled
- Long production time
- Human errors
Implemented Solutions
- Integration of a JANOME robot equipped with a vision system to simplify programming and ensure precise control of dispensing on each part. At the end of each cycle, a detailed OK/NOK report is generated, ensuring full quality traceability.
- A jetting valve allows the minimum dispensing volumes required for this high-precision application to be achieved.
- The robotic system, including the valve, is fully enclosed in a protective housing with light curtains to ensure operator safety.
